Hello.

Today I thought I'd write a blog in English. I don't really know if we are 'allowed' to write in English here though, but I find it quite hard to express myself in Norwegian. Especially when it's something that has to do with fashion. Anyway, today I wanted to write about one of my favorite fashion designers, Ellie Saab. Ellie Saab is a lebanese designer who has been one of the most wanted names in haute couture in the Middle East. He is known for his feminine, classical and sexy style with brightly-colored silks, chiffons, pearls, dantelle and embroidered lace. 

He first had his first fashion show when he was just 18 years old. And then he moved out to Milan where he launched his Pret a porte (Ready-to-wear) line in Milan in 1998. And that made him combine the Middle Eastern details and touch with European fashion. 

That's what makes me love him actually. Since I've lived most of my life in Europe and I'm originally from a Middle Eastern country, the combination to me is perfect.

But honestly, I'm more into the

Middle eastern style. Some might  think that it's like a burka I'm talking about now, but it's not. I'm actually a big admirer of these Lebanese fashion designers, like Basilsoda, Jean Fares, Zuhair Murad etc. With Basilsoda you can get these emotional and energetic dresses. Dani Atrach gives you an elegent and cheek woman touch. God, it's beautiful! Even mentioning the designers makes me feel like living in heaven. I'm inspired by them, but that doesn't mean I want to do the same stuff as them. Everything around me inspires me actually. Even a butterfly. And my love for fashion gets bigger and more serious each day. Nowadays people look up to someone and kinda "copy" that person. It might be a celeberty, an artist or anybody.. But that's not what I want to do, I don't want to follow a trend. Ofcourse you can follow a trend but still have your own touch in it and it becomes different, and that will present you as a person with different style maybe or it will show a part of your personality. Clothes can tell a lot.

Anyway, you'll see what I mean in these pictures below. It's clear though. You can see everything is different and special!
